About Us

This year marks 36 years’ in financial services. Over that time, I have helped shape the financial adviser marketplace we work in today. I have been a financial journalist working with BBC Radio Sheffield, as well as writing for the money pages of Yorkshire Post and many other titles in the Johnstone publishing group.

Over this time, they key things that are important to me is to offer a common-sense approach to all client’s financial needs by taking the mystery out of some of the complex areas of a person’s life. I currently have the good fortune to develop our business for the next generation, whilst continuing to serve my loyal long-standing clients and their families navigate through their lives and help them achieve their financial goals and objectives.

My main area of expertise is helping families understand and plan for Inheritance tax, retirement advice, and investing for capital growth. I also deal with various companies around the region, offering retirement planning and corporate advice on their succession planning.

I have over 5 Years’ experience in working in financial services as a Customer Services administrator and my main role within the team is P.A to Simon. I support his work and ensuring that we maintain our high levels of customer service, which is key to our ongoing commitment to looking after our client’s needs.

I worked for many years previously in retail and Jet 2 Cabin Crew where good communication skills were paramount and ensuring good customer outcomes.

I have over 10 Years experience in working in financial services.

I am a fully authorised financial adviser. I am continuing to work towards full Chartered Financial Planner over the next few years as well as helping to develop our business for the future.

I pride myself in good customer service and have a good technical ability to navigate through the high tec world we live in. I am developing my knowledge and skills in helping clients achieve their goals and objectives for their investment, savings and retirement planning needs.

I started my career in finance as a dealer on the floor of the London Stock Exchange back in 1982, becoming a member in 1987.

Since then, I have started and run a number of businesses and provided financial advice to internationals living in Switzerland.

With a wealth of experience both inside and outside the financial services sector, I believe I am ideally positioned to help clients navigate the complexities of financial planning without the need for industry jargon, just using plain, simple English. I believe that quality of life is the most important consideration for my clients and this means ensuring that your quality of life is assured now and into the future.
